This is a known bug, which I wasn't able to replicate yet. Does it happen when you are browsing regular feeds, categories or some other "meta-feeds" or all of them? It would be great if you posted your exact sequence of actions which lead to the problem (e.g. click here, click there).

Another thing, what's with "..." signs? It could be a bug too.

Seems to be feed entries loading into category browsing. (Just happened again - loaded a bunch of digg feed entries into the unrelated "News" category.)

Its intermittent, but it looks like its only category browsing. Load in a category with more than one screen of headlines, then scroll down to the bottom. The new headlines might (fairly frequently) be from a different feed. That feed -usually- has a lot of unread entries (several hundred or more).

  • status changed from new to assigned.

I can't replicate it yet, but accepted (milestone is indefinite future, unfortunately).

btw, the issue is probably caused by tt-rss mixing up category and feed IDs, so the workaround for the time being would be to keep those different.

...how?

Just change the category IDs in the db?

FYI sometimes it happens when the category is out of articles, and sometimes not. I have not been able to reproduce it with feeds (and I don't -think- its the same category/feed combo but I'm not sure - I'll let you know if I get it to give different feeds in the same category or vice versa.)
