URL From Feed Breaks TTRSS GUI

Reported by: trac-user Assigned to: fox
Priority: major Milestone:
Component: interface Version:

Description

The feed includes an article with an unusual URL (http://digg.com/design/Best_ad_ever_Stickers_for_coke_machines_showing_what_s_really_inside...). It appears that the "..." at the end of the feed is causing the TTRSS GUI to misbehave.

First of all, this isn't GUI.

Second, unfortunately I can't verify this because Digg feed is long gone. Generally speaking, tt-rss doesn't care about URLS at all, any character will do (well, except quotes which could break stuff). So I'm not sure this was caused by the URL.

Sorry about the wrong component, it can be a bit confusing deciding which component a bug exists under.

You can subscribe to http://digg.com/rss/Scheissenegger/index1.xml to find the article in question, "Best ad ever? Stickers for coke machines showing what's really inside..."

Looks okay in FFox. What browser are you using?

  • status changed from new to closed.
  • resolution set to invalid.

I dug around more and it appears that some filter on adblock was causing the issue. I'm sorry for wasting your time.
