Hi,

I'm trying to use this plugin with Reeder (iPhone) and Mr. Reader (iPad) but there is something wrong in my setup, I'm not able to see the unread news on my two mobile devices, I can see all the subscriptions but they are not updated/syncronized with my tt-rss server.

The tt-rss server is autoupdated with a cron job and I use a browser on my pc to see the news without any problem.

In the fever plugin folder there is an "error_log" file, inside it I can see a lot of error messages, any idea on what could be the problem ?

Thank you

Does the fever API only sync un-read articles with a client such as Reeder or Mr. Reader? To me, I'd think that even articles marked as read would show up in the articles list after a sync, but they don't.

I experience this on both Reeder (iPhone) and Mr. Reader (iPad). I'm using v1.4.5 fever plugin, running tt-rss 1.8 & a mysql DB. I'm not sure if this is how the functionality was designed, but figured I'd ask...

Yes, thats normal. Also it's the same behaviour on Fever.

Is there anyway the plugin can be modified in order to be able to Download ALL articles even read ones on all devices. Many times I use my Phone to preview articles and for later go view them on my Ipad.

Since you're already using Reeder, try it's built-in support for Pocket, and get the free Pocket app.

Hallo

I just freshly installed the fever plug-in 1.2.
When I try to save the password from settings page /Fever Emulation, I get an error message "Query failed:".
I use Tiny Tiny RSS v1.7.8 without a password, in conjunction with MySQL.

I saw some similar requests on this thread, but did not find a solution.
Can anybody help?

Thanks
Michael

I got this running by upgrading to TTRSS 1.8.
Now I set the password. Then I find an entry in the DB table `ttrss_plugin_storage`.

Unfortunately, the Reeder App now reports "Login Failed Please try again.

I think I might be able to help with that one, because it just happened to me - Reeder reported "Login failed" until I turned on the option under general preferences to Enable API Access.

Two questions:

1) TinyTinyRSS 1.9 was recently released. Has anyone tried this plugin (latest git version) with it? Does it work, or are there any problems?

2) A new version of Mr. Reader was just released today, in it there is a new setting for Fever accounts "Is a Fever clone?" Anyone know if Mr. Reader works better with this plugin with that setting enabled, or conversely does it break things if you turn that setting on?

I've avoided upgrading to TT-RSS 1.9 until the Fever plugin is upgraded, but the new Mr. Reeder option "to work with Fever clones" works fine.

I use the git trunk code and so would be the first one to notice if anything on trunk breaks the fever plugin and report it on here. So in theory it should always work with the releases.

It's working fine for me with 1.9 (this was the first version I tried it with, in fact).

I'm getting an error w/ my Reeder client that says:
"Login Failed: Please try again."

In /var/log/apache2/error.log, I see:

Code: Select all

PHP Warning:  Plugin digest is not compatible with current API version (need: 2, got: 1) in /path/ttrss/classes/pluginhost.php on line 143

Going to that file, the line says:

Code: Select all

user_error("Plugin $class is not compatible with current API version (need: " . PluginHost::API_VERSION . ", got: $plugin_api)", E_USER_WARNING);

I'm completely lost; googling led me to some pages that didn't specifically help.

I just did a git pull of TT-RSS version 1.9.d2d6c8d, a pull of the Fever plugin, and then even did a graceful restart of apache.

Any help out there?
