Re: Fresh installation of 1.7.4

Does PHP have mbstring enabled? It's non-default extension, but a lot of PHP apps need it (WordPress usually does too). You may need to poke PHP and turn it on.

Re: Google Reader theme

Combined + turning off auto-expand works to expand feeds, but you can't click on the title and collapse them, unless I'm missing something.

Meant to reply. Digest mode is perfect :) Still wish I could mark as unread, but learning to use star instead.

Re: Mark as Unread

If mobile's not being developed then how come my browser defaults to it on my iPhone and iPad? (And can I change that?)

Mark as Unread

Sometimes I read a feed on my mobile and think 'Ohhh I really want to read that indepth!' I used to just email myself the feed, but that's a little trickier in the mobile browser (which is what the iPad defaults to, and FYI, I love it). Re: Cron job fails with HTML output

Brillig! Swapped the file in, cron ran and that works now! Woot! Thanks fox! You rock :D

(I know my PHP is being an idiot b/c I can't upload images in WP sometimes. I have to turn CGI back on, but I can't from where I am.)

Re: Cron job fails with HTML output

Tiny Tiny RSS database is up to date. I love computers! :D I commented out this and it works: if (!defined('STDIN')) { ?> <html> <head> <title>Database Updater</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="...

Re: Cron job fails with HTML output

It doesn't prompt all the time. -feeds works via CLI, but not Cron. -daemon fails every time.

Hence my confusion. Can I manually rerun the updater? If so, how?

Re: Cron job fails with HTML output

I did. WHen I did the manual update, it directed me to the DB updater, told me to backup (did) and then ran without any errors.

Should I run it a second time?

[1.6.0] Cron job fails with HTML output

I use a cron job to kick off the update, and I get this: <html> <head> <title>Database Updater</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="utility.css"> </head> <body> <div ...

Re: fbrss feed not working.

You can use these directions to get the FB rss feeds: http://ahrengot.com/tutorials/facebook-rss-feed/

That's what I do for similar reasons ;)
