i remember there might be a problem if one is using a very old version of tt-rss. (1.5 ?)

i need to go and export the opml and reimport it to the freshly install tt-rss to fix it.. :mrgreen:

i think speed & performance should be on the top 3 priority list for tt-rss .. we know tt-rss is already very well built rss reader in term of features & UI.. we can improve it further.. :|

you cannot go wrong with tt-rss! i choose this back in oct 2012 before google reader announce their exit! what a good timing to switch to tt-rss! :mrgreen:

NGINX is useful if you are serving many images..

but i don't find it necessary for a reader..
you need php + caching.. to improve it.
SSD might even HELPS speed thing up. ;)
