Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

I was letting my install auto-update, but now I'm gonna manage updates through git...I wonder if my codebase was older than I thought.

Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

So, I blew away the DB and reinstalled from git, then pulled my ooml back in...works like a champ. Dunno. Somewhere the DB got borked I guess. I kept the old one, so maybe I can troubleshoot why it went wrong, but otherwise I'm good to go. I can pull the db out I think if you want the pre-update dump.

Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

Lemme try blowing the db away, just to see if it changes anything, and re-importing the xml

Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

Link to dump on gdrive sent via PM; users table not included. My final fallback plan will be to wipe out the DB and start over, then insert the old users table entries, then re-import the feed xml. This is all cat pictures and updates to open source projects...it's not like my business will fall apa...

Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

I ran this and got this output in sql: mysql> update ttrss_feeds set last_updated='2016-04-23 00:00:00', last_update_started='2016-04-23 00:00:00', update_interval='15' where title like '%'; Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.13 sec) Rows matched: 47 Changed: 0 Warnings: 0 mysql> select title, update_inte...

Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

Ok: 1) Removed stampfile in /ttrss/lock. Killed systemd service, ran update_daemon2 manually...still got the warning. Lock directory is 777, should be writeable...also lockfile is created in the same spot and gets updated. Not sure; still, seems like just a warning. 2) Running daemon2 manually doesn...

Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

This thread, right?: https://tt-rss.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3749 I saw that; I don't think it's the same issue though. I didn't mess with time at all, and the timestamps on everything within cache seem to be properly in the past: [email protected]:/var/www/ttrss/cache$ ls; for i in `\l...

Re: Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

Curious; I copied directly from here: https://tt-rss.org/gitlab/fox/tt-rss/wi ... atingFeeds

It does not appear to have changed the problem; the daemon output is the same as well.

Troubleshooting updates on Ubuntu Server 16.04: Feeds Don't Update

Running TTRSS on ubuntu server and just upgraded from 15.10-16.04. This came with php and mysql updates that gave me some headaches. I decided to do a fresh-install, blowing away my old ttrss configuration (I have a backup and exported my opml) and re-deploying from the git master. I did keep the sa...

Re: Does the Android App cache the server's IP?

Any thoughts on why this would be the case? Like I said, the web client works on both laptop and phone from inside and outside the network using the EXACT same URL. When I try to use the app from the LAN, I get "I/O error, server down?" or something like that.

Does the Android App cache the server's IP?

I have my ttrss instance hosted on a server in my house on my lan; I have my DNS configured so that the address works internally AND externally. http://hda.surfrock66.com/ttrss/ works in the web browser on the WAN and the LAN. But not in the app. It works fine on my WAN, but it never connects when o...

Re: Articles Not Staying Marked As Read?

Do you have "mark updated articles as unread" in feed editor checked? I don't believe so...but I will go in and remove it from all feeds to be sure. All my currently loaded feeds are lolcats...unless it's the default and I missed it, I wouldn't have checked it. Also, your debug log doesn'...

Bump, still having the issue. Any other debug steps, other than what's above?

Re: Articles Not Staying Marked As Read?

I spit out the debug, and it was a greek to me, is there something specific I should be looking for? http://pastebin.com/K7HZBGHN I was wondering if it was a purge thing or something.
