Re: tt-rss does not load (after login page) if now language is setup in Firefox

I agree, that somebody how messes up with the Firefox preferences in such a way should/will also be able to find the console and finally find out what's going on. Nevertheless, this bug seems new (it worked until the last update). In the best of all worlds, there would be some error message to the u...

Re: Feed not parsable due to strange first line

My "fix" is to download these pages by curl (without raw) by a cron job and serve them to the tt-rss download client. Have I missed a more obvious way to fix this?

tt-rss does not load (after login page) if now language is setup in Firefox

Hi, in Firefox one can remove all languages in Tools->Options->Content->Language. I once did this to test another server. Now since my last update of tt-rss (to the latest version) tt-rss stops loading the page after the login page (.../index.php). Neither does any other page load. Only the login pa...

Re: Feed not parsable due to strange first line

Ok. So I found these to pages which describe the same problem:
https://github.com/guzzle/guzzle/issues/1475
https://github.com/guzzle/guzzle/issues/1385

Now I do still not understand if this is a server or a client problem.

Re: Feed not parsable due to strange first line

Update: If I use curl --raw I also see this strange 00006000 in the first line (and 00000000 in the last)

Feed not parsable due to strange first line

Hello, I would like to ask why this feed cannot be parsed by tt-rss: https://ocw.mit.edu/rss/new/mit-newcourses.xml If I check it with https://fakecake.org/myfeedsucks/ I get the following first lines: 00006000 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <?xml-stylesheet title="...

Re: TE-Reader for FirefoxOS

According to this article https://hacks.mozilla.org/2014/06/firef ... n-android/ Firefox OS apps should now be usable within Firefox for Android. But there seem to be limitations which API you can use.

Re: Support setting Strict Transport Security

You might try this plugin: https://github.com/jmozmoz/remove_external_content It replaces image/attachment on external hosts content with a link to them. You can turn it on and off with an icon in them menu bar (reload of the current feed necessary to take effect). @fox: please add the plugin to the...

Re: HOOK to remove content from external servers

I added the new hook to my plugin (see github link above). It seems to work.

Re: HOOK to remove content from external servers

Here is the current state of my plugin. It removes links to external content in the news message (and hopefully soon also in attachments). The state of the plugin can be toggled with the icon in the toolbar:

Is it possible to add a button to main-toolbar by plugin?

Hello, I would like to ask if it is possible to add a button to the main-toolbar (or some other place, which does not belong to a single message) by a plugin? The button should be used to control some option of the plugin (e.g. turn the functionality on/off), e.g. by toggling it. If possible the but...

Re: HOOK to remove content from external servers

Thank you for your answer. Can HOOK_FEED_PARSED really be used for this? It looks like I cannot modify the feed content with it. But I found https://github.com/wltb/ff_feedcleaner and with config it removes the thumbnails from the enclosures: [ { "URL_re": "#.*#", "type"...

HOOK to remove content from external servers

Hi, I would like to ask for help with the following problem: Is it possible to either configure tt-rss in such a way that only images (and other content) from the tt-rss server is shown in the feeds or to do this by a plugin? (If images are cached on the tt-rss server they should also be shown.) I w...

Re: HTTPS Howto?

I found this for openshift: https://www.openshift.com/kb/kb-e1044-h ... c-to-https

Add this to your .htaccess file:

Code: Select all

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Forwarded-Proto} !https
RewriteRule .* https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]
