Where to set local CURLOPT parameters?

Hi all,

I would like to set CURLOPT_CAPATH locally. I am currently updating my tt-rss installation via git pull, so I assume putting that option into include/functions.php would not survive an update. Is this correct? Is there a better place to set that option?

Re: Git repositories change

For git pull to work after the changes, I had to run one additional command: git branch --set-upstream master origin/master With just your two commands, a git pull results in There is no tracking information for the current branch. Please specify which branch you want to merge with. See git-pull(1) ...

Re: Periodic releases are over

What is the best way to switch from the updater module to git based updating? Is it sufficient to rename the old directory, do the git pull and then copy the old config.php into the new directory? Or are there other steps needed?

Re: Text cut off at UTF Emoticons

I checked the database settings and character set is set to UTF8 in the ttrss settings and in the database the defaults are also set to use UTF-8. I am not sure where to look else. Any ideas?

Re: Text cut off at UTF Emoticons

Okay, glad to hear that it is not a general problem but just a config thing on my side. As it seems to be a database encoding problem on my side, can some one - not Fox, as I still use the "wrong" database :-) - recommend a way how to check and change the settings in Mysql?

Text cut off at UTF Emoticons

Hi all, I have some feeds where authors use UTF-8 emoticons like U+1F497 in the title or body of feed items. The RSS feed validates correct when I check it via the w3c validator and shows also correct in Firefox. In TT-RSS however, the title or body is always cut of before the UTF-8 character. Since...

Use filter regex in create tag part of filter

Hi, Is it possible to use the content of a regex match group like (.*) in the create tag part of the filter? I would like to create tags dynamically, e.g. tag each feed item with the author name. If it would be possible to define match groups in the regex and then reference them with something like ...

Re: Spiegel RSS feed no longer working

xaberus, do I have to separate your code from the one that fixes the GUIDs with a comma or do I have to put them into the pair of square brackets? I am new to ff_feedcleaner and don't know how to add a second configuration.

Re: Spiegel RSS feed no longer working

The config for ff_FeedCleaner I posted yesterday did indeed fail to remove the guids, I edited the post. This one should work. Yes, the new code works. Thanks very much for sharing it! BTW: Do you also have a solution for the new link format of this feed that redirects you to the homepage first ins...

Re: Update Script for TTRSS Trunk Version - Fedora

Since I see no use of sudo in the script itself, I assume that I have to run the whole script with sudo to get the file rights set the right way, correct? Did you get, by any chance, user feedback about what to change in the script to get it working with Debian? I can see that a few changes in the v...

Re: Twitter RSS Feeds

Hi, I am currently testing with latest version of this script from git ( https://github.com/jdelamater99/Twitter-RSS-Parser ). When I request the feed it works for one screen name but not for one other screen name, I get a file that contains just this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ut...

Re: Twitter RSS Feeds

Hi all,

Is it possible with this script to "resolve" shortened URLs and embed pictures if the link points to a picture in a twitter feed?
