For a while I ran an angular version of the site using the API so it would behave exactly the way I wanted to. I also wanted to learn angular so it was an easy project to learn with.

I was having issues with side swiping before, now after the update it swipes like normal.

In the custom chrome tab you can also press overflow menu and open in chrome.

You might look into a way to make your own front end using the API. It should be easy to start with a fresh page and using something like react or angualr to do it all in. Just don't link up the things you want to block.

Same feed works for me.

Try doing cmd+shft+r for a full reload. Also try in incognito mode.
