Re: Rate limiting for some git-related requests

Sounds like an automated script gone bad. You're a lot nicer than I would be; I'd just block the IPs at the firewall and be done with it... Of course then you'd get a new forum member complaining that they can access Git locally but not from their VPS. :) As mentioned, I don't think Digital Ocean do...

Re: Starred Articles

We were all waiting for you to have an epiphany, but here it goes... The linked images are obviously going to show (in the tooltip) the external link because that's where the image is linking to... You know, because it's a link to somewhere else. It's the image itself that gets cached. So right-clic...

Re: Http 429/Too many requests

@erw, You're so pleasant in your responses. It's really quite wonderful. /s So you want to answer without reading question first? As I mentioned - it's not often it's just lots of feeds from one provider. [emphasis mine] Side note: It's nice that you start your journey in the forums being snarky to ...

Re: Make GoComics work again plugin

I'm just another forum member trying to help you. No one wants to pollute the forum with the same information over and over . That's why there's a stickied thread in this very forum with the exact same link I provided. It's Internet courtesy to read the forum rules and stickied threads when joining ...

You're going to want to visit the wiki otherwise you're going to get yourself banned for asking questions that have already been answered. Anyway, read: Plugins

Re: Reeder iOS + TT-RSS

Reeder needs the Fever API plugin for TT-RSS. It does not support adding/removing feeds; you have to do that in TT-RSS directly.

Re: GoGomics removed RSS feeds for their comics !!

I'm not seeing that either. Do you have that feed set to mark updated articles as unread? Maybe turn that off. Also check that there are no filters on the feed in question.

Re: GoGomics removed RSS feeds for their comics !!

Several of us here are using that plugin without issue. What you're describing sounds like either a user-configuration error or a bug. Could you be more specific?

Re: Mobile webapp for TT RSS: ttrss-mobile

This is not a package issue. The mobile app is entirely client-side. What is your document root? I mean, if: ttrss installed in : /opt/ttrss But to use TT-RSS you visit: https://example.org/ttrss/ ... then the mobile plugin should be set to "/ttrss/mobile/", but as I said, I'm pretty sure ...

Re: [Patch] Link to "current commit vs master" in Preferences footer

GitLab is already pretty heavy on the server, while it's all in fox's control, I wouldn't want that. Sometimes GitLab will actually not do a full comparison because of the load and instead prompt the user if they're sure they want to continue to do that. Instead, just do this from the terminal: $ gi...

Re: Feed parsing error since update

fox has a good point. Changing the user agent for every request (which is what will happen if you set that constant I suggested) could be a bad thing. If you wanted it per feed, you'd have to write a plugin that hooks HOOK_FETCH_FEED. Check if it's the feed URL in question; if so, call fetch_file_co...
