Re: ttrss-notify-xmpp

Guessing you put the init.php and other stuff in a subfolder under plugins or plugins.local.
If I remember correctly the folder name has to match the class in init.php, which in this case is notify_xmpp

Re: DOMDocument::loadXML(): Empty string supplied as input

Highly suggest you read this and actually provide some more useful information as opposed to just the error message.
https://tt-rss.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1387

Though looking at the message, guessing the issue is probably with libXML, which is a PHP issue, not TTRSS.

Re: Memcache issue on shared host

5 seconds spent Googling will tell you this is a PHP setup problem, and this is not a PHP support forum.
Take it up with your host.

Re: Feed categories in preference are always expanded

To be fair, those posts were over 3 years ago, so probably forgot about them. First question, which should have been obvious. What browser are you using (version as well please), and does the problem happen with another browser? Or even the same browser on another computer? What about browser addons...

Re: Unable to make TTRSS work : PHP errors

This is why I always recommend people test any new system they setup, before trying to install anything else. If you had just tried the most basic test, such as creating a phpinfo page (quite literally one line of code), you would have found that your setup was wrong and could actually take your iss...

Re: identifying what options change what colors in ttrss

In before fox bans you :) In all seriousness, please upgrade your install, 1.13 is a couple years out of date. You'll have to move over to using git to get the latest version. Suggest you re-read the Wiki to find the new details. We are currently on Tiny Tiny RSS v17.1 (f45a115) - I might be 1 or 2 ...

Re: Feed failing and don't get why

A little bit of research would have told you that LibXML is a library that is part of many programming languages, and that includes PHP, which you should be aware your TTRSS setup runs on. This means there is either a problem with PHP's implementation of LibXML, or a problem with the data from the f...

Re: Cant login

This is beyond hilarious. You posted the public link to the server, how naive are you?

I wouldn't be surprised if someone has already logged on with the default credentials and locked you out of your own install.

Re: iOS 10 Chrome/Safari lockup issue with tt-rss...

Yet another casualty to Apple's closed system, like Sony, they like to be in control of everything. You are correct, no matter what browser you run on iOS, it is using the exact same rendering Engine as Safari. Browser vendors cannot bundle their own engine with their browsers, they have to use one ...

Re: Outlook support.... Sorry...

Thought this all sounded familiar, see one of my (very) old posts here: Published articles as RSS format (not Atom) It still works for me, don't use it much anymore but I still have it setup in TTRSS. If you want to keep using git to update after making the changes to the template then make sure to ...

Re: themes not showing up

I know I probably shouldn't do this but I can't sit idly by and watch this trainwreck. (I just can't look away  ) First problem, you're using version 1.15.3. That is an old milestone, which was released in December of 2014, so is well over a year old. Second problem, obviously logic isn't you'r...

Re: Heise Newsticker

I highly doubt that TTRSS support RDF, that first link isn't a proper news feed, at least nothing like RSS or ATOM. It's missing time and date and a bunch of other stuff TTRSS probably depends on. Looking at the site before the 13th shows that the first address actually redirects to a RSS feed. http...

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

Hi fox The last couple of updates may have introduced another issue in the android app landscape view. Im on 1.176(410), latest on play store. When in the feed view, that is list of feeds on the left with articles on the right, if i select a feed with only 1 article (im using Adaptive mode) the arti...
