Re: Getting "fatal error" after upgrade to 14.04

Managed to resolve with some further upgrades and an Apache restart. Sorry for the distraction!

Getting "fatal error" after upgrade to 14.04

Just upgraded from 13.04 to 14.04 (not recommended practice, I know) and RSS now throwing an error frequently during interaction with

"Fatal error
Error code: 7

No operation to perform."

Re: Android app - failing to mark articles read

As noted, the Server I/O issue has only happened since the latest version of the app was released, with no change on the (Apache) backend.

Independent of that, any comment on the failure to mark as read which happens even in absence of the server i/o error message?

Android app - failing to mark articles read

The Android app has been very stable for me up until the latest release. Now, it is not marking articles as read as I browse them or if I mark feed as read while inside the feed itself. The only guaranteed way to mark a feed as read is from the feed index. Also, "getting Error: I/O failure serv...

Re: Android App - show article author

sorry, to be clear, I was referring to tt-rss, not the android app.
I guess tags rather than branches make sense given the velocity of the code development.

Re: Android App - show article author

Awesome work, thanks.

As an aside, is there any reason you don't create a branch in the git repo for each stable release? (allowing a git checkout between trunk and a stable version as needed)?

Android App - show article author

It would be great if the author of a blog/article could be shown alongside the article header or at least in the full article body in the Android app.

Re: Mark as Read button?

Is there a way to disable the confirmation dialog box from coming up after you click on Mark as Read?

Re: Mobile: Mark Feed as Read; Link back to front page

Yeah, I think this one could be useful. Fixed in trunk.

Many thanks. Would it also be possible to have a 'next unread article in feed' link such that you don't have to click on the feed link, at the top of the article, before going to the next article?

Mobile: Mark Feed as Read; Link back to front page

In the mobile interface, it would be useful to have a single link for "Mark Feed as Read", which when clicked would take you to the next unread feed. Currently, this involves selecting All, then hitting Mark as Read, then clicking Back before selecting the next feed. Additionally, there do...

Console client

Just done a long delayed upgrade from 1.2.17 to 1.3.3 and very happy with the new features, in particular the mobile interface. One thing I would love access to is a console client which interfaces with the same database as the web interface. I have been using Newsbeuter, which has a Mutt-like feel,...

Ah. In fact, when using Firefox on Linux, I get the drop down menu. If I change the browser identification check of MSIE from false to true on line 3077 of functions.php, it gives me the one click option rather than the menu... Nasty hack though. Surely, the visual style should be an option rather t...
