Re: Auth_Saml - Support Thread

Ive modified my code to use the native login process cleaning up all the $_SESSION vars but problems arise with the SLO (Single Log Out) & SLS (Single Logout Service) actions, they need to be able to be run any time even if the user is still logged in and if I put that though the authenticate pr...

Re: Auth_Saml - Support Thread

I will look at seeing how I can push it to use the auth process as it may allow me to get rid of a lot of code re the sessions.

Re: Auth_Saml - Support Thread

You should take a look at the auth_internal and auth_remote plugins. TT-RSS authenticates on every request; if a valid session doesn't exist, it runs the login process, which is entirely pluggable. If you follow through the code you'll see that as long as an authentication plugin returns a valid us...

Re: Auth_Saml - Support Thread

why the need for a hook? The login button will not post the form without there being data in the username/password. I could not work out how to put a button next to the login button without a hook so resorted to manually adding the code for the current time. For SSO purposes the login form itself i...

Auth_Saml - Support Thread

I have created a SAML Login auth plugin using onelogin/php-saml library and tested against simplesamlphp IdP. onelogin/php-saml - https://github.com/onelogin/php-saml tsmgeek/ttrss-auth-saml - https://github.com/tsmgeek/ttrss-auth-saml You need to create a settings.php file in the plugin directory, ...

Re: DB Article Duplication

Could the content_hash or $entry_plugin_data be used to work out if a user is applying filters then only match articles if everything matches. [...] and allow dedupe to work across the whole system. Honestly, that seems like a lot of extra code and processing for something that isn't that much of a...

Re: Sphinx Configuration - mariadb/mysql & postgresql

Can $params be passed to $plugin->hook_search as a second param?
It would allow for further sphinx optimisations such as limiting the search on to a particular feed and limits etc.

Re: DB Article Duplication

Do keep in mind that different users can apply different plugins which could result in different article content. One user might use the Readability plugin, another might not; therefore the content would be different for the same article. This type of thing needs to be taken into consideration. ahh...

Re: DB Article Duplication

Looking at line 616 in rssfuncs.php it seems that the $entry_guid is compiled from the $owner_uid and $entry_guid, this would make the article entry unique even if several users had the same feed. Maybe instead it should be like this. Original $entry_guid = $item->get_id(); if (!$entry_guid) $entry_...

DB Article Duplication

I have recently migrated from Feed-On-Feeds which served our purposes for a long time and had many updates done to support our needs fixing some performance issues. One of the things I found fairly useful was that articles were not duplicated within the database if many users were subscribed to the ...

Re: Auth_LDAP Support thread

I updated this plugin to support native PHP ldap instead of the old Net_LDAP2.
Download the latest version if needed.

Re: Sphinx Configuration - mariadb/mysql & postgresql

I have seen an area where sphinx could be optimised. Currently the delta pulls the last 24h of records and indexes again, this could be quite large for some people, on a separate project I use sql_query_pre command to store data in the DB relating to the position to go from on each delta. ie. source...
