Re: daemon user needs shell?

I would like to add that one of our community moderators resigned because he was afraid he'll be dragged to the Hague Tribunal because of these pictures or something. Quality stuff, fellas, stay tuned. Sorry, my message was not clear enough. I didn't resign because I was actually afraid of being su...

Re: Learnfilter intelligent filtering plugin

I would like to be encouraging. It really sounds interesting, but being Python may be a problem for many of us with our crappy hostings Get better hosting then. You can get a vps for the price of a shared hosting account and do whatever the fuck you want. There's really no excuse and trying to disc...

Re: A minimalist theme with a Feedly vibe: RS2

For the time, the awesome guy himself will do it.

It says 1.7.6 but it's perfectly valid for 1.7.8.

Re: Problem with plurals in translation files

davidm, Well the .po file could have a malformed header because of a previous translator or something, you could fix it so it would work properly and resubmit everything back. Ok, I'll try that. I wrongly assumed that it was some kind of centrally generated setting, same for every language. I'll tr...

Problem with plurals in translation files

I'm using Poedit for translation. It complains about plurals when saving the edited .po file, and corrupts the file if I actually edit those strings (it claims to have plural support). I edited them with a text editor. This is the log from Poedit: messages.po:501: message catalog has plural form tra...

Subtome support

Subtome is a universal button for handling subscriptions easily, it could manage RSS feeds but also any other kind of subscribable content, like a Twitter user. It can be displayed on websites, there is also a bookmarklet. It was launched a few weeks ago. The whole thing is open source. Your feed re...

Re: Manually assign articles to labels ?

I'd suggest that right-click context menu is displayed a lot more prominently in the wiki, and maybe in the keyboard shortcuts help. It took me months to discover the context menu. It's not intuitive, since people generally expect the context menu to be provided by the web browser, not by the web pa...

Re: Filter strategies

Sorry. But with custom captions ordered alphabetically I don't really think anyone should need anything else. I'm not on trunk and haven't seen the captions options before.

Re: Option to programatically add special feeds (Social Plug

I just wanted to say that this can be great. And it would be greatest (and difficult in more than one aspect I guess) if you could link different tt-rss instances and get the social features across them. That could turn tt-rss into an infinitely scalable environment to build a network for collaborat...

Re: Filter strategies

The shit! Are those captions implemented in 1.7.6? Drag and drop and ellipsize not needed anymore! Thanks.

Re: Filter strategies

fox, before sorting, I would ask you to add ellipsizing. My filters are looooong and they get on top of the label. Like this:

It would look better if after 150 characters or so, it trimmed the rest and printed "..."
