Re: [1.8] Error when collapsing feedlist (<< button)

There is no ID on the button. So, to show it, you currently need something like this:

Code: Select all

#main_toolbar_form > .dijitButton {
    display: inline-block !important;
}

An ID would be nice though.

Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

That's interesting... Could you please check the performance if you replace the rule with this: #floatingTitle { display: block !important; } If it's better, I will change it in the theme. Currently this will show a border on top of the articles which I don't want. But with some minor changes this w...

Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

@davidm: nevermind, it's always good to get feedback. You could try with removing these lines from the CSS, in line 1298: #floatingTitle:not(:empty) { display: block !important; } This should solve the initially visible floating title thing. I didn't like that the floating title turns off and on whi...

Re: [1.8] Error when collapsing feedlist (<< button)

Perfect! Cleaning up stuff is always a good idea. I'll re-enable it in my theme css.

Re: [1.8] Error when collapsing feedlist (<< button)

Thanks, this does the trick!

Why did you hide the collapse button in commit 618e80ee5e8757d2ecdd8fb21f89cf7385b663ee? Are there any other issues?

Re: [1.8] Error when collapsing feedlist (<< button)

The bug is still there... But I found out when it happens: The bug was introduced when you added the floating title, short time before v1.8 was released. As soon as the floating title is shown (both combined views), the error is triggered when you collapse the feed list. Changing feeds hides the flo...

Re: [Theme] Storm - mix of dark grey and light colors [1.8]

@unlogy: This seems to be a bug in tt-rss itself. I experienced it with other themes as well, also with the default theme.

It's triggered when you collapse the feed list while the floating title is visible.

Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

@davidm: Yes, a bug. But not in the theme, but in Tiny Tiny RSS itself. The default theme also doesn't hide the content preview.

Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

Yes, it's a hack. img:first-of-type selects the first image in any wrapper element. Many wrappers => many images. This is the closest thing I can do with CSS only. However, here's the code for images on the left side: /* allocate some space for the preview image */ .cdm.expandable:not(.active) .cdmH...

Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

@Bierfreund: There's a very, very hacky way to do this. Since the article content is already there, only hidden, we can grab the first image and put it into the preview. Maybe there's a better way to do this via a plugin. /* allocate some space for the preview image */ .cdm.expandable:not(.active) ....

Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

I updated the theme with new icons and many small and big improvements all over the place. Time to have the OP updated with new screenshots! https://raw.github.com/levito/tt-rss-feedly-theme/master/feedly-screenshots/feedly-expandable.png https://raw.github.com/levito/tt-rss-feedly-theme/master/feed...

Re: Theme - Chalk - Improved

@bmckenna: a guide for this theme is quite hard to do. First: it was never meant as a reference or base theme, second: read on... The HTML has grown and changed over the life time of tt-rss, it's not the most consistent thing. Fox can't refactor it too much as this would easily break existing themes...

Re: Chalk Theme

Cool! This script is awesome! And the Font-Awesome icons fit so well I didn't recognize them as such. And... sorry... you were right: to completely hide the floating title, you need #floatingTitle:not(:empty) { display: none !important; } ... as you said. I needed to use this to not have a gray line...

Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

@ftobin, thanks for the idea, I will think about it. But... it looks like your change works because of a browser bug. Removing display: block reassigns display: table-cell to the items. Firefox for example can't position table-cell elements in a flexbox-manner (which browser are you using, btw?) Reo...
