Re: Limit login attempts

If you're using Linux, you might also look into fail2ban and creating a jail for apache that will enforce this using iptables. fail2ban will run at the operating system level and can be used to provide security for other services, as well. EDIT: I see you've already considered that and apparently ha...

csrf_token change (OTP image)

The OTP token using Google Authenticator has no title but does include the TT-RSS username. I'd like to propose that it also carry the title "TT-RSS" or something that identifies it as being for TT-RSS. While I only have 2 authenticator tokens here, for someone with multiple authenticator ...

Re: Incorrect generation of CSS name

The number is the epoch timestamp of the associated file's modification time. I'm not enough of a web guru to tell you why it's there, but it's not what's causing your display issue. My server does it, too, and neither Firefox nor Safari have any issues rendering the page correctly. <head> <title>Ti...

Re: I think I'm losing my mind

if there was a SQL command I could run to disable updates for all feeds, I could then manually enable updates for the problem feeds and do a packet capture if that would help at all. You're in luck! There is such a SQL statement! ttrssdb=> UPDATE ttrss_feeds SET update_interval='-1'; This should di...

It works here. Are you able to grab the XML with wget? Bug report: v1.11: subscribing to already subscribed feed

I submitted this bug through the TT-RSS web interface: http://tt-rss.org/report.php?view=f9f5b4059891eb507842fc7ec5e699fbf0293c55 This happened when trying to subscribe to an already subscribed feed in 1.11. When trying this action in 1.10, TT-RSS gives the appropriate "You are already subscrib...

Re: Error Message: system() has been disabled...

@sleeeper service Sorry Iam a normal user :-) Can you explain "fix your broken setup" step by step? Sorry the world is not full of Programmers :-) This is why you're failing. TT-RSS is a package of Unix software that a competent system administrator needs to install and maintain (yes, I k...

Re: PHP library which speeds up tt-rss

I don't know if this is what you're referring to, but I use php-apc which is a php opcode cache. Meaning it keeps precompiled php opcodes in memory to avoid going back to disk and recompiling scripts each time they're executed. It's not a "php library" though, but I'm guessing this is the ...

Can you recommend some webhost not expensive (or free) that I can use? compatible with tt-rss?

Thanks

Sure, a Linux server PC on your home network or a virtual machine running Linux on the PC you're using to access the Internet.

Re: Inconsistent fetching of new Published Items (HTTP 304)

I'm going to guess that the websites are broken and improperly returning a 304 when presented with a request for new items. Liferea probably "works" because I'm suspecting it's not properly asking the webserver if the document has changed (the RSS XML list). I see there is an undocumented ...

Re: 1.9 to 1.10 - update performance regression

I did some log parsing looking for the duration of all update runs using task 0. I grab the PID of that task and then look for the first and last timestamps that task appears in the log for each run. I then calculate a seconds duration between them. I then used these durations to calculate an averag...

Re: 1.9 to 1.10 - update performance regression

I'm using PostgreSQL and the aforementioned server where the CPU fans are running more often. If the updater is doing language detection, it will consume more CPU time as it will take longer to run (time to parse XML + load into database vs. time to parse XML + detect language + load into database)....
