Re: Separating Front-End from Back-End

Kind of sounds like you need to find a better place to work anyway.

Re: Question

Your approach seems unnecessarily complicated. Just use filters to adjust scoring and one, final filter at the end to mark as read if the score is zero. No code hacks, etc. needed.

(If you delete articles that are still in a feed, they might show up again later.)

Re: Upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04, can't get past login page

Try logging in with Private Browsing turned on. I'm guessing a cookie or browser plugin/extension error. Avoid allowing password managers to submit the login form.

You'll want to take a look at this: https://tt-rss.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3616&p=21634#p21636 And this: https://tt-rss.org/gitlab/fox/tt-rss/commit/5bdcb8fd7834964d69550a788d9c666c14964f21 To answer your question: the HOOK_ARTICLE_FILTER doesn't allow the guid to be modified, you migh...

Re: Phantom feed?

I started out on mysql, and after a while, bit the bullet and switched to postgres... and it does work better. I started out on PostgreSQL, and after a while, switched to MySQL because I needed it for another application and didn't want to run two database servers on one machine. ... and PostgreSQL...

Re: Git repositories move to https://tt-rss.org

I'm using: https://tt-rss.org/gitlab/fox/tt-rss.git And it seems to be working. It's possible it was just a glitch in the route (dropped packet, etc.). Have you tried running a trace route from the server on which TT-RSS runs to this site? What is the output of the following command: git remote -v

Re: Feed issue: toucharcade.com +1

The WP Super Cache plugin uses PHP to built static HTML files (it can run in a few different ways, but this is the "best" way for visitor performance). They also suggest some fancy rewrite rules on the web server so that if a cached HTML file exists for the requested page, the web server u...

Re: Cron update only seems to work after I log in???

Am I doing something wrong? Yup. This: I didn't login to the web interface for a couple of months If you don't log in, you become an inactive user and your feeds stop updating. The default duration is 30 days. You can disable such checks by adding the following to your config.php file: define('DAEM...

Re: Supporting SQLite

That FAQ is rather old, and hasn't been updated to mention Write-Ahead Logging, which significantly improves SQLite's concurrency characteristics. Perhaps. But performance is still not going to be better. Nor is it easier than this: apt-get install postgresql php-pgsql At the end of the day, SQLite...

Re: Supporting SQLite

For a single-user set-up, I doubt performance would be an issue; I wouldn't be surprised if SQLite were actually faster. I'm not so sure; from the source (emphasis mine): We are aware of no other embedded SQL database engine that supports as much concurrency as SQLite. SQLite allows multiple proces...
