Re: [Theme][GitHub] feedly theme built from scratch

@blacksmith You can just click and drag the top of the feed display to adjust the size, it is not fixed. The feedly theme doesn't have anything to indicate you can adjust the size of the article content and feeds listing, the bar is just a bit darker than normal, unlike the default theme which has a...

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

Thanks fox, I was hoping this wasn't just me, but you never know, everyone's setup is different.

I'll give it a go later today and let you know, I've got a couple of big feeds I can very easily test it on.

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

FYI: I've had this happen to myself quite a few times, but only recently realised that it happens when it's trying to load the next set of articles. TL;DR I'm seeing this as well, and over a LAN. Is there possibly a way to just make it not move if the articles are not loaded yet? That might be the e...

Re: Sent to Kindle with one click plugin

Works for me here, I'm on latest git release. At least it appears in the plugins list, I don't have a Kindle so can't really test it i think. Make sure you've followed the instructions above properly. If the folder name is not correct the plugin will NOT appear. The folder must be called "kindl...

Re: Bug on Planet Python RSS feed.

I've never run into any of these problems and my MySQL install isn't chewing through tons of memory. Not sure on what you're memory limits are though. In my case, full-disclosure, I'm running MySQL on a Windows 7 machine, yes I know it's not ideal but I am working on setting up a Debian Microserver ...

Re: Bug on Planet Python RSS feed.

Wow guys, wasn't expecting that much of a response. Also while I knew that MySQL can be a bit stupid at times, I didn't really realise how stupid. I now realise it's not as simple as just changing a few settings. Sorry if I've dug up something you'd hare rather been kept buried. While I also get tha...

Re: Bug on Planet Python RSS feed.

Just putting this out there, but since utf8mb4 was added in MySQL 5.5.3 which was released in March 2010, almost 6 years ago now. Would it maybe be a good idea to schema update everything for MySQL to use utf8mb4 and then the minimum require version will then just be MySQL 5.5.3. That way any hacks ...

Re: Cloudflare TLS cipher support

Unless this is a bug in NSS in RH/Centos it looks like this might just be a webserver configuration issue. NSS shouldn't be restricted to any specific SSL cyphers by default (afaik), if none are defined then is allows all, or at least the most common SSL cyphers. Not something i've had to look at be...

e: maybe shitty NAS boxes running god knows what should be banished from support along with shared hosting Definitely agree that NAS systems running their native/packaged Webservers should probably be in Unsupported. But you can run Vmware on some of the beefier boxes that run proper Intel CPUs so ...

Re: Forum's feed

Where did you get that URL from.

As far as I know the feed does not come from feedburner, it's actually just built into the forum software.
Just try to Subscribe to the forum URL and it will automatically pick up the Feeds available.

Android client: Settings button missing in landscape on tablet.

First off, kudos to fox for the great android app, been using it for a while now and it works almost perfectly, only issue I've had before is the preview crashing on rare occasions but I blame Google for that one. (And it doesn't crash the TTRSS app itself). I've just noticed that i can't seem to ge...

the recommended way is letting normal expiration processes do their thing, you can of course run whatever queries you wish but please don't ask for support afterwards Random thought I had when reading this. If you have the option "Purge unread articles" disabled and you delete/unsubscribe...

Re: [Android Client] Open links as Chrome custom tab

maybe its better to just say open instead of open with app, idk Couple of suggestions based on what I've seen other developers use. Open with ... The three dots implying that you then choose what you want to open it with. External App It already says Open link at the top of the popup so why bother ...

Re: Update feed script on Amazon Linux AWS

I don't know much about RedHat but here's a few things to try. With the first command, perhaps it needs the full path to the php app. Maybe change it to: /usr/bin/php /var/www/html/tt-rss/update.php --daemon & Obviously change it if php runs from a different directory on RedHat, this is the path...
