Re: I am writing a plugin, but I dont know which event to us

I was just wondering now I use HOOK_ARTICLE_FILTER and use $article["link"]. What is the best way to only process the new updated articles? Because now it returns all the links in the feeds. You can use the $article['plugin_data'] entry for such stuff. Be careful not to override it, appen...

Re: Plugin XML start tag cleaner

I created a small plugin which removes everything before the '<xml' start tag. I had a feed which sends some special characters before the xml start tag and ttrss couldn't parse it That is a bit odd because of this , could you post the feed URL or tell us what characters are before the '<xml'?

levito wrote:I found another issue: If you have ENABLE_GZIP_OUTPUT set to true in the config, it will be also applied to the images.

This breaks the images. Both Firefox and Chrome can't display them.

Works fine here too, with Firefox at least.

Re: af_feedmod: Debugging?

AFAIK, creating debugging messages is the plugin's job, and Af_FeedMod doesn't do it. But since it is Open Source, you can add such messages as user_error("debug message", E_USER_WARNING); yourself. These messages then show up in log of ttRSS, which by default is stored in its database and...

Alas, it doesn't depict bears, but it does a good job capturing the essence of this thread.

Plugin Af_YouTube

Here is a plugin that embeds video iframes into YouTube feed entries. To use it, you have to create a directory af_youtube in the plugins subdirectory of your ttRSS installation, save the code below into a file named init.php and put it into the af_youtube directory. After that, it needs to be activ...

The GUID's in that feed aren't unique. I suppose that to fix it, one woul...

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

Hello, looks great but it won't work on my ttrss installation because I'm using a self signed certificate. You can add the CA you signed the certificate with to iOS. One way to achieve this is mailing the CA certificate to your iDevice, or you can open it in Safari, iOS will guide you through after...

Re: EFF rss feed

This feed https://www.eff.org/rss/updates.xml works fine for me on trunk. If you don't have trunk, you should install and try again. If it doesn't work then, maybe there is something nonstandard with your PHP installation. You may see some activity in your browser's console that may help you to isol...

Re: Question on MySQL database structure: Why 3 MyISAM table

That means three tables are of type MyISAM (and two of them have a different collation from all the other tables). My question is: Has this been done on purpose or maybe somehow slipped in accidentally? Since it came up in another thread: This is no accident, and your question was asked before . A ...
