HTTP Code 403, accessing feed by browser worked fine

Postby toomyzoom » 14 Sep 2013, 14:02

I use TTRSS (v 1.9) to pull videos from my new subscription list. I don't know if youtube changed something that block ttrss from accessing the feed. Viewing in browser, the feed showed up normal like it should. However, it showed HTTP Code 403 in ttrss. It forbids ttrss's request to download the feed. Anyone know how I can fix this?
This is the link: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/toomyzoom5/newsubscriptionvideos?v=2&max-results=50

Thank you.

Try using http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/Toomyzoom5/uploads?alt=rss&v=2&orderby=published&client=ytapi-youtube-profile instead.
That feed is the one youtube presents when looking at that users uploads.

The problem is everything else working fine except newsubscriptions feed. The shit was broken when I confirmed about keeping nick name or using real name. Right after that, this error pop up. I was ignoring it for the longest I know until two days ago. How stupid of me.
Using AOL reader for youtube feed, the same link worked fine on it.
Does anyone know how I open the error console to find out what exactly happened?

Thank you.

Same here BUT - when I open rss link in browser - it just not works. I've tried any kind of links to newsubscriptions feed in browser.

So there is no problem with TT-RSS I guess.

Seems like the only way is to subscribe on EVERY channel's uploads from your subscribtions as tango25 suggested.
That's crazy though because I subscribed to about 70 channels...

Yeah, noticed from yesterday too. All of sudden, the feed started working again.

Didn't work again... But now, I have absolutely the same issue as in the first post by tommyzoom - 403 error in ttrss, but able to view directly in browser.

Maybe you should move this discussion to google product forums since it obviously has nothing to do with tt-rss?

Feed link is working in browsers and other readers, not in tt-rss. So even if it's google's fault, I guess the topic can be useful for other tt-rss users if we'll figure out the problem.
