What's happening when this error occurs? That particular function is called countless times by the core and plugins; without a backtrace it will be pretty difficult to figure out why the error is occurring. (Seems odd it would cause an error when that particular line is supposed to be error suppressed, but maybe the @ needs to be at the start of $options?)

All that being said, the error in particular will be pretty inconsequential to the software, to be honest.

i think this is somehow related to php settings, this has been reported by several people but not one of them bothered to investigate yet

I'll give it a go, maybe its related to my feeds not updating. (Update times in the UI are correct, the updater is working and logging downloads but nothing is landing in the UI.) Turns out that was JustAMacUser's fault. But I'm still willing to dig into this if needed.

Noticed this yesterday. Ruling out inactive plug-ins and commented-out fetch_file_contents calls (@ 6b06a60), it seems to be something in:

  • include/functions.php
  • include/functions2.php
  • include/rssfuncs.php

I'll do some more checking later.

tt-rss 6b06a60, PHP 7.0.13, MariaDB 10.0.28, Ubuntu 16.04.1

*edit* I've only seen this once, so I'll probably just leave things alone unless it happens again.
