Hi Andrea,

Why does android version require GPS location, video recording, writing call log and so on?

Android version is builded using PhonegapBuild, which by default requires all possible permissions. In the next release I'll do a bit of cleaning

Tried the client on Android and couldn't get logged in. Besides my ttrss user/password, the server is userr/password protected. Seems not to handle this. Look at the options in the official client to figure out what you need to support.

Also:

- once I had this issue there was no way to go "back" except home screen and kill
- once I enter my data in the account screen it seems to just start trying to login. There is no button for me to tap to say try and no indication this is happening other than the fact that the client seems locked up.

btw you are using a GPL licensed tt-rss logo in your app and there's no mention of the license / sources.

You're right, thanks for the tip.
I started the project with the idea to release it under GPL, but I realized that DRM AppStore may be incompatible with the GPL.

The sources are available on https://github.com/andreafortuna/YATTRSSC (version 0.0.2, the same that I just submitted to Apple).

In the next release will replace the icon.

You don't have to do that, btw. You just have to mention that it's GPL somewhere.

If it actually is GPL (or compatible) and sources are available, there's no problem with you using the icon.

Andy your app looks quite nice and works good for a "0.1" release.
would you be so kind and add something like the following to the app description to avoid negative ratings on the stores:
"please enable external api mode in your installation of ttrss under settings > "activate external api"

Tks @Tobi! I've updated the descriptions on Play Store and AppStore.

The release 0.0.2 is already available on PlayStore and waiting for approval on the AppStore

I don't have an account, but enabled "one-user config". The app doesn't show any articles. Will try some more tomorrow.

OK, I have updated the app, and the changes are nice. Refresh works nicely, however I (personally) like the "Pull to Refresh" method over hitting a button. However, it does work nicely.

I have folders set up (I know I am not the only one) and like how on the website I can click on the folder and get all the unread items for all the feeds in that folder. It would be nice if the app could do the same thing.
-Folder 1
---all feeds
---feed 1
---feed 2
---feed 3
-Folder 2
---all feeds
---feed 1
---feed 2
---feed 3
-Folder 3
---all feeds
---feed 1
---feed 2
---feed 3
...
and so on.

@deckyon ever since installing the initial release of this app on my iPad I've been unable to get it to work. The error I'm receiving is...

"index.html
Host unreachable:http://<server address>/tt-rss Please Check Network"

I've confirmed that the iPad has internet access. I've confirmed that the URL is correct (copy/paste into mobile browser) as well as username/password. I've confirmed that "External API access" is enabled as well as uninstall/re-install the app

My setup has an apache conf file redirecting to SSL. Even with this redirect off, I still receive the above error.

Some assistance would be greatly appreciated as I'd really like to try this app.

Shannon

Same here. My server uses a different port and an "unsigned" SSL certificate, don't know if it's got something to do with that.
