Jumping feed list when using "F, Q"

Postby acceptablename » 18 Apr 2017, 12:52

Installation:
Git cloned from tt-rss
Tiny Tiny RSS v17.1 (b8f23d6)
Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS
PostgreSQL
php7.0

Browser:
Firefox 52.0.2 on OSX 10.12.3

When I use keyboard commands “F, Q” to mark a feed as read, the feed list sidebar jumps, and I have to scroll back.
When I use the “Mark as read” button, the feed list sidebar stays where it is.

Here's a recording: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2107633/ttrss/TTRSS_jump_720p.mp4
First 3 feeds, I use “F, Q”.
Second 3 feeds, I use the “Mark as read button”.

Is the jump when using “F, Q” intended behaviour?

i think that's because dojo tree has hotkey support when focused, the usual workaround is clicking on someting outside the tree before using hotkeys

patches welcome, etc

e: tbh i can't really reproduce this.

Thanks, the workaround works, it means an extra click in an empty area before I can "F,Q".

I've just noticed that the "F,Q" jump doesn't happen when I have the browser at full display height. I almost always have the browser at a quarter of the display size – in this case, the "F,Q" jump is easily reproduced.
